Viking settlement forge of empires2/12/2024 My current bonus chance is 21%, so there's a decent chance of hitting one of the 4x bonus goods. If neither hits the 4x bonus, I then simply take the 25 FP and delete the settlement and do it again in 24 hours. If one of them hits the 4x, I continue on with the settlement. When I start a new settlement, I immediately drop down two Axe Smiths and set them both to 8 hour productions. A suggestion to help with the shortened timers with the later settlements: Take advantage of the increased chance of getting the 4x bonus goods at the start. This along with minimizing idle production time is my strategy in a nutshell !Ĭurrently working on my 13th settlement. I try to optimize my road layout and minimize the impact of obstacles Everytime i expand / swap goods buildings I also make sure i can research the next technology as quick as possible (which involves selling goods buildings in favor of others) to make sure you can get new expansions as fast as possible I get 2 axe expansions, 2 mead expansions, 2 horn expansions, 2 wool expansions, and then 1 final expansion of whatever is easiest (usually wool) also i feel like i getting substantially lower than a 1/5 chance of x4 so its a perfect storm of sorts which is making it very close I did leave my phone at home while i worked a 12 hr shift and feel asleep twice before collecting / setting new productions so that is the main culprit. 31 hours to go and if i make it with the max time bonus it will be by the skin of my teeth !!! Its funny right after i brag about my Viking Settlement Prowess i am running into issues. Right now i have a lv 5 and a lv 2 runestone. I am about 5 days away from completing my 13th settlement ! So far ive gotten the max time bonus every time with 0 diamonds spent ! - if anything its been getting easier and easier ! Off-setting this is the +1.5% chance of x4 goods with every new settlement and the experience one gains to do it more efficiently and faster than the time before With every new settlement you get less and less time to complete it and it costs more and more goods to complete the research
